IMERITUS

dedicated to unlocking and preserving knowledge.

We are dedicated to unlocking the invaluable expertise and unique contributions of key employees within organizations.

Our mission is to capture and assemble their deep knowledge, transforming it into accessible and impactful insights that drive innovation, growth, and excellence. By preserving and disseminating this wisdom, we empower companies to build upon their foundational strengths and achieve sustained success.

Problems we're solving

We work to address a critical problem faced by many organizations: the loss of invaluable expertise and deep institutional knowledge when experienced employees retire.

This issue can significantly impact a company’s operational continuity, innovation capacity, and competitive edge and at the same time retiring industry experts are often looking for ways to contribute to the profession and their companies long after they are no longer working.

More specifically we address six challenges.

01

Knowledge Continuity

challenge

Companies often struggle with the departure of key personnel who hold unique insights and deep understanding of complex processes or historical decisions.

Solution

By creating personalized AI models based on the comprehensive knowledge (documents, interviews, presentations, recordings, papers, work products, and correspondence) of these individuals, we ensure that their expertise is preserved and remains accessible.

02

Development of Future Leaders

challenge

Transitioning knowledge effectively can be time-consuming and is often diluted over time without the direct influence of the expert and often never happens.

Solution

Our AI models facilitate ongoing mentorship, providing consistent, on-demand access to expert knowledge and guidance.

03

Scalability of Expertise

challenge

The insights and decision-making skills of top experts are typically only available to a limited number of people within an organization due to time constraints.

Solution

Our services allow for the scaling of expertise across the organization, enabling a wider range of employees to benefit from high-level insights and improving overall decision-making processes.

04

Cost Efficiency

challenge

The cost of losing a key employee goes beyond just recruitment and training of a replacement. The deeper impact is often seen in lost productivity and the degradation of service or product quality.

Solution

By maintaining the intellectual output and decision-making acumen of experts we reduce the financial impact associated with the departure of skilled personnel.

05

Maintaining an Innovative Edge

challenge

Maintaining a competitive edge in fast-evolving industries requires continuous innovation, which can be hampered by the loss of experienced innovators.

Solution

We help ensure that the innovative insights and strategies of leading minds are retained and continually contribute to the innovation processes.

06

Risk Managment

challenge

Losing critical knowledge, especially in highly specialized or technical fields, can pose significant risks to operational stability and compliance.

Solution

By archiving and replicating the knowledge of key employees, we help mitigate these risks, ensuring compliance and consistency in operations.

What We Do

We preserve and scale the expertise of key personnel in organizations by incorporating an expert's life work into cutting-edge generative AI models, ensuring their knowledge continues to contribute value long after their tenure.

How We Do It

Our approach is simple, but non-trivial.

The IMERITUS Interview is a 100-hour interview of an individual and it is the core of our work.

We conduct this interview for 2-hours each week over the course of a year.  100 hours of interviews typically results in between 750,000 and 900,000 words.  This is equivalent, for example, to the length of the collected works of William Shakespeare.

The interview is conducted by an expert IMERITUS Curator.

The Curator also collects and organizes a Source Library.  This Library is typically comprised of the individual's collected work including but not limited to:
